Admission and discharge

Arrange an appointment at the institution’s secretariat, Str. Pedagogilor 3–5, daily from 08:00 to 16:00. The appointment is based on a referral, the most recent hospital discharge letter, or a medical letter.

• Identity document.
• Health card.
• Referral from a specialist or family doctor.
• Proof of health insurance status: an employer certificate endorsed by the Health Insurance House; for pensioners, an original pension slip; for unemployed people, an original unemployment benefit slip; a school or university certificate; a social assistance certificate or benefit slip; or a certificate from the Health Insurance House for people with voluntary insurance or covered as a dependent.

The treating doctor decides on discharge and informs the patient and family at least 24 hours beforehand. The discharge documents are a discharge summary, discharge letter, and medical letter. A referral is also prepared if the patient needs monitoring.
